Using Pulse
By creating an account or using Pulse, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Pulse on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business, and "you" includes it.
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. Pulse is for business use.
Accounts and teams
Pulse is a workspace account. The owner creates the workspace, adds team members and decides who can see and do what through roles and permissions.
- Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
- The owner is responsible for the activity of everyone they add to the workspace.
- Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
Your data
You own the records you add to Pulse, including your customers, jobs, inventory, sales and receipts. You give us permission to host, process and display that data only as needed to provide and support the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You're responsible for what you put into Pulse, for having the right to use it, and for meeting any obligations you have to your own customers about their information.
Acceptable use
Don't use Pulse to:
- Break the law or infringe anyone's rights.
- Upload malware or try to disrupt, probe or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data.
- Resell or sublicense Pulse, or build a competing product from it.
- Send spam or misleading messages through Pulse's email features.
We may suspend access that puts the service or other users at risk.
AI features
Ask Pulse and inventory capture use AI models. Their output can be incomplete or wrong. You're responsible for reviewing it before relying on it or acting on it, and inventory drafts only change your records once you confirm them.
Plans and billing
Pulse is offered as a monthly subscription. The plans, prices and user limits are shown on our pricing page, and there are no setup fees.
- Subscriptions renew each month until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time. Your access continues until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We don't store your full card details.
- We may change prices or plan limits with advance notice. Changes apply from your next billing period.
The service
We work to keep Pulse available and to improve it over time, which means features may change, and we may add, modify or retire them. We'll give notice when a change materially affects you.
Pulse relies on third-party services, such as sign-in, email delivery and AI models. We aren't responsible for outages or changes in services we don't control.
Our property
Pulse, including its software, design and branding, belongs to us and our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it under these terms. If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve Pulse without obligation to you.
Ending your account
You can stop using Pulse and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or if we're required to by law. When an account ends, we handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
Pulse is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Pulse is a business tool: it doesn't provide legal, tax or accounting advice, and you're responsible for the accuracy of your own records and filings.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Pulse won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pulse is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you rights that can't be waived.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top and notify account owners before it takes effect. Continuing to use Pulse after a change means you accept it.
